This gent, @JasonKonopinski, has grown leaps and bounds with his copywriting and experimentation on his website and blog with poetry, podcasting, and posting great content. We had the pleasure of chatting in the flesh at Social Slam, one of the best conferences I know to bump shoulders with anyone on the webz.

I have a live interview today happening (me, yes…) I am trying to stay busy until zero hour without falling into the time warp so I think that I noticed you have the Mighty Chief up there too! I want to see and listen to that interview as well.

AlaskaChickBlog you don’t want to go to these events trust me. I mean look at the riff raff that goes to these things. Worse they are all soft city folks who wouldn’t last an hour or even 6 mins in the wild without a latte and scone at the ready. 8)

Me thinks I’d fit right in… Hmm, that’s ok, I make a hell of a cup of coffee but we do tend to make fun of folks who can’t take their coffee BLACK…but-cha know…I’ve always wanted to learn to make scones..
AlaskaChickBlog I am a big talker now living in bear coyote and moose country after many many years of city living….but I was chased by an Osprey last week on a hike it dive bombed me about 12-14 times twice so close I expected to feel its talons. I even ran and fell when running LOL I think it got mad after flying overhead I stopped and squawked back for a few minutes in a raptor standoff. If I had grown up here I would of wrassled it and ate it for dinner 😉

I am totally afraid to watch this. I have this image of jasonkonopinski kind of William S Burroughs meets Jack Kerouac meets Ernest Hemingway meets Jackie Collins…..talking with a William Shatner cadence and a voice like Gilbert Gottfried. Why should I ruin the aura and myth built up all this time?
